Joomla 1.5 RC4 Issues

1. Are there any known compatibility problems? I don't see any recent posts since its release on 12-18-07.

2. I understand I have to purchase JSN Epic PRO Pack for use with Joomla 1.5 RC4.

Unless I misunderstand something, the following statement that appears on your website appears to be misleading with respect to 1.5!

"The header image slideshow you see on JSN Epic live demo server is another Joomla! extension from JoomlaShine.com called JSN ImageShow. This module is not included in the template download package, you need to download it (free without any registration)."

This is followed by the following statement on the JSN ImageShow section of your website:

"Note: JSN ImageShow free version is compatible only with Joomla! 1.0.x. If you are using Joomla! 1.5 RC4 please buy JSN ImageShow PRO version with additional Joomla! 1.5 RC4 native compatible module version included."

So does this mean "it is not free," because I am using 1.5?

3. Are there galleries available from JoomlaShine or others that are compatibile with JSN ImageShow?

Hi iamplatinum,

Free version of our products (JSN Epic and JSN ImageShow) are compatible only to Joomla! 1.0.x. If you are using Joomla! 1.5 RC4, you have to purchase the pro version. We are sorry if our text lead you to confusions.

The next version of JSN ImageShow (available in january 2008) will be able to connect and get data from currently popular Joomla! galleries like zoom gallery, RSGallery, Pony gallery, etc. The upgrade will be free for all current customers.

is the issue regarding joomla 1.5 compatibility been solve? because i download jsn imageshow and install it on my joomla 1.5 on legacy and i got error after running it. should i get the pro version to get my jsn imageshow working? is there no trial for joomla 1.5 version?

Unfortunately free version JSN ImageShow doesn't work on Joomla 1.0. However we can make sure you that the PRO version (http://www.joomlashine.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=38&Itemid=39) works well in native mode Joomla 1.5. Please to take a look at demo web site (http://demo.joomlashine.com/joomla-templates/jsn_epic/j15/index.php) for more information. Also, the PRO version doesn't contain any brand links. You can make right click on slideshow area and there won't any information about copyright.
