Solution - rename the /sitename/htaccess.txt file to .htaccess. And be very careful to put the dot before the title, if you do not do this it will not work.

OK, I found a file like that in the root of the Joomla folder, but changing it didn't do any good so far, the links are all still bad.

I bought Pro, and I have another ticket in, if I need to go that route with this too, please let me know.
