Your free template does not work with 1.5? What are you thinking? You have a seemingly fantastic template here. And fail to let it be tested before buying??? Worse, you make potential purchasers assume the "try" will work with 1.5. So you waste my time and give your work a bad image. It loaded into 1.5 but looked horrible.
The experience should be: I fall for it, download it, the look and feel is as advertised, I kick the tires, it passes and I come back to buy the full version.
You have too much invested to ever let it look horrible. I am taking my time to give you this feedback out of respect. It has a great look. Maybe more, can't tell.
You should consider pre-sales email. These kinds of comments should have an option besides this forum.
Hello RunicArchitect,
Thank you for your interest JoomlaShine’s products.
>>> “…Your free template does not work with 1.5?...”
Can you please clarify what exactly do not work? The template installation process was unsuccessfully?
>>> “…potential purchasers assume the "try" will work with 1.5…”
We are sorry to hear about that, however many customers tried free version for Joomla! 1.5.x. at first then buy the PRO version (http://www.joomlashine.com/shop/client/more_information.php?product_id=1) normally.

After installation the template you need to set up the CONTENT of your website. We have created a very detailed tutorial to realize it. After following all instruction which will take about 30 minutes, you will get the website to look identically JSN Epic demo website.

My friend, I was in exactly the same boat as you just yesterday...I had 1.5 installed and wanted to trial Epic and ImageShow before buying.
Well, Epic (Free Version) worked perfectly tbh, and was just minus the bells and whistles of the Pro version. I couldn't get ImageShow (Free Version) to work, but that's because I hadn't bothered to read the clearly stated instruction that it is not comaptible with 1.5 at all.
I even emailed Joomlashine yesterday and received a swift reply to all my questions.
Today I purchased both Epic Pro and ImageShow....and OMG
They are both sublime...and the full PDF tutorial you get with Epic Pro is superb, my site now looks just like the demo site in under 3 hours (only better ;)).
I think you should chill a little, find out what if anything you did wrong, and try emailing these guys if you have any pre-sales issues.

I held the same opinion as you did, but after seeing what it can do from the examples, I sprung for the Unlimited Pro package as I can tell that I will use this a lot, once I figure out how to use it as I am completely new to Joomla, thus I am having to learn two products at once.
From what I have seen, there is nothing out there that has the features of this product especially for the money. That it is specifically integrated into Joomla 1.5 is a huge plus.
I have also noticed that the support team provides timely responses to the problems encountered and I feel certain that my issue (i.e. not quite knowing how to integrate it into my content) will be quickly resolved.
