Is Image Slideshow required

I have a test website and am evaluating the JSN_Epic template for a Joomla 1.5.9 installation.

Is ImageSlide show needed to fill the Primary Promotion Configuration section with a static jpg image?

Can these jpgs be selected randomly as with some of the other templates?

I would like to do some development before making a purchase.

You can use JSN ImageShow module, static image or leave this module position empty normally.

Yes, you can duplicate JSN ImageShow module then configure it to show random images with other templates. You need to use Joomla function 'Menu Assignment' within configuration page of JSN ImageShow module.
