    Default Joomla Client portal

I'm looking to see if anyone has suggestions for a Joomla Client portal, basically I would like to either assign or have registered users to access only files that are assigned to them. Any help would be appreciated. Looking for a free component or one on the cheap. Thanks.

I have an easy solution for a client portal. It is non-joomla and can be purchased here (i use this one, and they also have a demo u can try out)
    LINK: http://codecanyon.net/item/advanced-client-portal/113198?sso?WT.ac=search_item&WT.seg_1=search_item&WT.z_author=23andwalnut

All you have to do it, load all the files in a file directory on your joomla side (it is database driven , so you'll have to create a database) Now make a button on your joomla side and name it CLIENT LOGIN - link it to this file directory. Now clients can login and download files, you can even create create invoices so clients can view, and much more.... The cost for this is around $20 bucks.

    OR

Another solution (which i am trying out as well) is downloading this extention called "Redirect-on-Login"
    LINK: http://www.pages-and-items.com/extensions/redirect-on-login

This is cool because you can create a custom page for a user in joomla, then link that specific user to that page upon login. you can set it to "access group" or even a "specific user". I love this one too.
What i did was, create a user custom page and then templated that page. So now for every new user, i can have an "already made template page" for them and fill in the blanks per user and set this component to redirect them to that specific page etc.. (i think you get the idea of its potential) This one does cost around $48 US dollars.

    Hope this helps, enjoy
