I'm running Joomla 1.7x and installed the imageshow free version to test functionality for photographer client.

I installed the sample data and the slide show works fine. Can see thumbnails in component control panel (administrator) and images display nicely on front end. However... when I add a new showlist using a local folder there are no thumbnails generated in the admin panel and no images display in the front end.

Local folder is CHMOD to 777 as described in a forum post here. I have cleared cache in both Joomla and in my browser. I deleted the showlist, recreated it with a new name, dumped the database... still no images.

Please help! I'd need to give my client something that works and yours may be the one - IF - I can get it to work on the test site.
