As the number of my slideshows proliferate I have
concern over the realistic control of the scaling...
In short, there should be a master parameter set.
In programmers' terms (I'm not a programmer) all
the parameters are now set 'directly', we need a
master set of parameters coded 'indirectly'.

Example: 20 modules/slideshows all of which
show different subject matter. However many,
if not all of them, have common values - say
3secs/image and a backlink to the contact page.
Yes, I can maintain a master module with the
common parameters included which can be cloned.
But... some months later I want 5secs/image and
a backlink URL over to the home page. Then I
have to go back to each and every module and
manually edit each and every setting;~/ So,
the master area should be 'indirectly' coded...
and after a setting is changed then all the
existing modules using that particular setting
will be dynamically adjusted accordingly.

It's not rocket science, that's what Joomla!
does each time... dynamically producing pages.
Let's make the parameter base also dynamic?
