5 famous Joomla blogs - have you visited them yet?

From the first time I used to Joomla, I was really excited and I wanted to know more about it, so I looked for resources, materials, tutorials, articles or anything that involved Joomla. I realize that blogs are a perfect choice. There are a large number of blogs with many different styles, and blogging content: Joomla news, reviews of products, opinions of Joomla, etc. After reading some helpful and amazing blogs, I have gathered them together and I'd love to share my list of 5 famous frequently updated Joomla blogs with you. I hope that you will be interested in these resources.

JoomlaBlogger page

We start the list with JoomlaBlogger, one of the most famous blogs, which was the winner of Blog Web Site at J and Beyond 2011.

The author of this blog is Kristoffer Sandven, who is a designer, SEOer and web consultant. Kristoffer Sandven has a wide knowledge of Joomla and he loves to share it.

JoomlaBlogger is a great tutorials resource that no one should skip if they join the Joomla world. It stores many articles about Joomla tutorials, Joomla tips and Joomla News for beginners and intermediate users. All of them are useful and practical since Kristoffer shares his experience with deep enthusiasm.

Note that you shouldn't miss an ebook named "The best of Joomlablogger.net" which collects the most helpful blog posts for a Joomla user. This book is for version 1.5. However, Kristoffer will update it for version 2.5 soon. I see that I love Joomla more every time I visit this blog.

Brian Teeman's blog

Brian Teeman's blog

Brian Teeman is a consultant at Joomla Training and co-founder of Joomla! and Open Source Matters, Inc. He has received several prestigious awards for his great contributions towards Joomla. The most recent award is the Blog Junkie at J and Beyond 2011.

I love this page's interface, display and articles. Brian's blog can't be confused with other blog thanks to his own knowledge and opinions. I am going to give you 2 blog posts I like most - "Top 10 Joomla extensions" and "Joomla! is not one community". As you see, they are short, concise, unique and very helpful - they provoke me to re-think about things I have taken for granted before. In general, Brian's blog is good food for thought. Besides this, he joins a lot of events as a speaker. So here, you can get hot Joomla information. It is cool, right?!

Cocoate page

As a website based in France, Cocoate.com is a useful blog, especially for European Joomla users since articles are written in multiple languages; such as French, Russian, Italian, German, and English.

Topics in this resource are mostly introducing books they have published, quoting a few chapters from those books and bringing news about events the author has participated in.

Cocoate.com has produced books about how to use Joomla in 5 main languages. Among of those books, "Joomla! 1.7 - Beginner's Guide" and "Joomla! Development: A Beginner's Guide" won 2 awards at the 2012 Small Business Book Awards. I have read "Joomla! 1.7 - Beginner's Guide" and "Joomla! 2.5 - Beginner's Guide"; they are truly thorough, helpful and absolutely great books for beginners like me. You can download ebook editions or buy them if you want to have paperpack editions from Amazon.

On the other hand, you will get the opportunity to meet, communicate and exchange knowledge with many people from Europe and worldwide thanks to some projects that this site has often operated such as Family Business, About Houses. Well, these occasions are going to be fun.
