You are already noticed about the series of advanced improvements in Joomla! 3.2 with our inforgraphic 8 features of Joomla 3.2 that you should know. If you are still hungry for details of these WOW features, let me unveil more of Joomla 3.2 for you.

Note: This blog post is written based on the Joomla 3.2 Beta Full.

Better multilingual support

You can pick your native language during the installation process to create a multilingual website, without installing additional extensions with Joomla 3.2.

After the 3 steps for installing the Joomla package, you can start the process of installing languages. Click the button “Extra steps: Install languages” instead of clicking the button “Remove installation folder” as you did in the previous versions.

Now you can see how your website is multilingual in the back-end:

It is multilingual in the front-end, too:

Content Versioning

In previous versions of Joomla, you are able to change the articles as well as categories and use that latest version only. In this version Joomla 3.2, you can make changes - plus keep track of the changes, make comparisons or restore all changes that have been made.

When you create an article or a category and then save it, you will see the “version” button appears.

What can you do with the different versions stored? You can preview any version, keep it on/off forever, restore it, delete it or make a comparison between 2 versions.

Below you can see what the comparison window looks like. The content changes are presented in the 4th column with red strikethrough text for deleted content and green text for newly added content. You can also check related information that has been changed, such as Status, Category, Modified Date, etc., below the window.

Content Versioning is a brilliant feature for organizations or corporations who have several people working with Joomla CMS.
