Apologies if this is a really dumb question. I've been using Joomla for many years but I'm not a developer or a coder, just someone who know just enough to get a reasonable looking site up and running. Because of my limited PHP and HTML skills in the past I've always had difficulties in finding a template that really fitted my needs and that is why I'm now very interested in JSN Shine as your demo videos make it look nice and simple to create the kind of layout I'm after.

Whilst the videos made it clear how to create the layout the videos were less clear on the styling aspect. Yes styling of text is simple enough but I'm talking about using images and backgrounds in headers, adding icons etc to menu's module titles and article lists etc etc etc.

So I guess my questions are:

1. Can you add images to menus, module titles and article lists etc and if you can, are these images saved to the main images directory of Joomla or are they kept separate and saved in the template images folder?

2. I understand that JSN Shine comes with 9 different templates. Is it possible to edit these rather than creating a new one from scratch? The General News and Sports News are the closest to what I'm trying to achieve but I would want to move some of the module positions and change other parts of the layout slightly as well as the colour scheme.

3. Is there a minimum server specification required to run JSN Shine? I've read a couple of forum posts from people who have experienced a few problems and sometimes the server PHP version has been brought into question.
